At St. James and Salem, we offer several ways for you to deepen your faith by spending meaningful time in the Bible and gathering with fellow believers to grow closer to God.
Bible Studies
If you’re hoping to get deeper into God’s Word, this is the place for you! Throughout the year we offer several Bible studies of varying topics and lengths. Daytime and evening sections are always available to accommodate everyone’s schedules. During our time studying God’s Word together, you’ll find yourself flipping through the pages of your Bible while simultaneously growing in your faith. As life-long students of scripture, we welcome every opportunity to learn more and encourage one another through these amazing studies!
Book Club
Are you looking for a fun and casual way to regularly feed your faith? Our monthly book club could be exactly what you need! Join us the last week of each month when we gather to share our thoughts about all kinds of wonderful Christian books, including historical and general fiction, bestsellers, biographies, autobiographies, Christian classics, and contemporary authors who deliver timely messages of hope. Come as often as you’d like!
For Children
There is something for everyone at St. James and Salem, and that certainly includes our children! Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, for the Kingdom of God belongs to them.” We take that very seriously! St. James offers a Sunday school class for all ages at 10:30 a.m. Every summer the children of our community look forward to Vacation Bible School. Also, you will often find our older youth helping out with the Sunday mornings services in a variety of ways! (Note: Sunday school has been temporarily suspended until Covid restrictions are relaxed. We look forward to resuming again very soon!)
